The Special Senators feature a higher gear ratio and faster retrieve than standard Senators, but all have a powerful, multi-disc drag system, two stainless steel ball bearings, a manganese-bronze main gear and a precision- machined stainless steel pinion gear.
These reels have accounted for more record fish than any other reel over the years, and remain one of the toughest and most durable economically priced reels.
