How to Fish
The beauty of Clackin’ lures is that they immediately increase your odds of attracting fish straight out of the box thanks to their iconic rattle chamber – but there are a few special techniques that you as an angler can use to increase your already heightened chances of hooking a fish.
Cast out your Clackin’ Minnow and steadily commence a medium paced retrieve, creating a slightly modified version of the traditional Rapala “wounded minnow”. This on its own provides sufficient action to encourage nearby predators into striking the lure. To really get the rattle chamber and internal holographic foil working, try imparting a hard ripping action to the side during your medium paced retrieve. This method shoots out a deep rattling sound and sharp flash which is sure to capture the attention of distant predators.
Due to its sinking nature, the Rapala Clackin’ Minnow can be fished at most depths by simply allowing it to sit and sink for a longer period than you normally would before commencing your choice of retrieve.
Clackin' Concept:
More than just a noisy lure, the Clackin’ Series builds on the proven success of the uniquely designed sound chamber first introduced in 2009 with the Clackin’ Rap. The single steel ball and trademark exposed rattle chamber transmits a distinctive clackin’ sound and creates maximum vibration.
The key success point of this trademark rattle chamber is the metal-on-metal contact. By combining a single metal ball with metal disks either side, a deeper, more pronounced tone is generated; in turn travelling further and calling in fish from a wider perspective.
In union with the translucent bodies, the seductive flash of internal holographic foil and the legendary Rapala swimming action; Clackin’ lures create a full sensory stimulation fish cannot resist.
