Mount Remote Control Box for Mercury and Mariner - 881170A15:

These outboard controls have a "push to choke" ignition switch with 8 pin connector wiring harness and lanyard stop switch.

There is a separate neutral warm-up lever, a 5 pin accessory plug for tachometer and an adjustable throttle friction.

Power trim models incorporate a single rocker type trim/trailer switch in handle.

Controls can be mounted on port or starboard side.

Not for use with engines that have counter rotating lower units.

Older engines may require a harness adapter.

For power trim models, 15 ft.(4.58 m) harness and built-in warning horn.

New design which includes soft grip and power trim leads for front mount switch.

Ref. Throttle/ shift cable Gen I - 850716A__ or 897977A__. Throttle/Shift cables (896143A) for MY2005 and newer 8/9.9 FourStroke outboards. 8-9.9 4 Stroke engines generation change above S/N OR192772 and new 15/20 4 Stroke engines will use Gen I series T/S Cables

Fits all current Mercury/Mariner outboards (with integral power trim) and 1993 and newer Force outboards 40 hp and higher utilizing Mercury style cables (with power trim).

When used with MY2005 and newer 8/9.9/15/20 FourStroke outboards an adapter harness 84-892473A01 is required. Remote Control cables need Gen I style to connect to control box.
